Rylstone Kandos Preschool is governed by a group of volunteers known as the Preschool Management Committee. These members are volunteers from our Preschool families or valuable members of our community.

Rylstone Kandos Preschool believes by including both families and community members we are able to better make decisions to meet the needs of the greater community. Thus having involvement into the development and health of our local community.

To ensure Rylstone Kandos Preschool meets its day to day responsibilities and objectives, the Management Committee employs a Director. The Director is also the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader of our Preschool. A well defined partnership between the Management Committee and the Director is imperative in providing the best service possible for our community.

Vision & Philosophy

We believe Preschool should be a happy place for children; giving them a sense of belonging, the joy of being & the promise of what they will become.

Children at the Rylstone preschool don colorful hats as they play joyfully in the sandbox, using shovels and buckets.

Families

Rylstone Kandos Preschool is managed by volunteers made up of preschool family members and members of our community.

We value and respect parents and care givers as the children’s first teachers and we like to work in partnership with families to achieve the best start in life for all our attending children.

We rely on parent volunteers to fill governance and leadership roles in our Preschool by joining our Management Committee annually at our AGM. We also ask families to volunteer their time throughout the year to fund raise much needed funds to keep our Preschool fees low and affordable.

Parents and carers may also be asked from time to time to assist on excursions or share valuable skills and knowledge on incursions.

A colorful preschool corner in Rylstone features a small table and chairs, artwork on the walls, a large clock, and various educational materials on shelves. A window overlooks the playground, creating an inviting learning space for young minds.
