Rylstone Kandos Preschool
Vision Statement
We believe play provides opportunities for children to learn as they discover, create, improvise and imagine. Our play based program is informed by the Early Years Learning Framework and is responsive to children’s knowledge, ideas, culture and abilities. We are a small community based Preschool that strives to make strong connections within our area including our local schools, aged care facility and various community events. This helps us maintain strong trusting relationships not just in our community but with families as well.
A happy place for children; giving them a sense of belonging, the joy of being & the promise of what they will become.
Rylstone Kandos Preschool is a not-for-profit community Preschool. We have been operational since 1987. We are licensed through the Department of Education and Communities, which contributes funding to help with our running costs. We rely on Preschool fees, fundraising by our parents and funding to keep our doors open. Rylstone Kandos Preschool participates in the Start Strong Funding Model, funding children for 15hrs per week. We are registered as an association and are governed by a parent / community body elected annually.
